Digital Guide License Agreement
Effective September 29, 2026
This agreement applies to the Arkansas Business Startup Guide and Arkansas County Guide products offered by Financial Stewardship Services, LLC.
Purchase and license
A purchase grants the purchaser a limited license to use the identified guide under these terms. The transaction does not sell, assign, or transfer the copyright, publication rights, source files, trademarks, or other ownership rights in the guide. Financial Stewardship Services, LLC retains all rights except the limited use rights expressly granted below.
License grant
Subject to payment and compliance with these terms, Financial Stewardship Services, LLC grants the purchaser a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, not sublicensable, revocable license to download and use the purchased guide for the purchaser’s own planning or, when the purchaser is a business, for that one business’s internal planning. The license does not transfer ownership of the guide or any copyright interest.
Permitted use
Save reasonable working and backup copies for the licensed purchaser or licensed business.
Enter information into fillable fields and save the completed working copy.
Print reasonable copies for the purchaser’s own use or for authorized internal users covered by the order.
Share limited completed pages with the purchaser’s attorney, CPA, lender, insurer, or other adviser when reasonably necessary for that adviser to serve the purchaser, provided the adviser does not retain or use the guide for another client.
Use links and public-agency information in the guide subject to the separate terms and current information of those sources.
Prohibited use
Sell, resell, rent, lend, sublicense, assign, transfer, give away, or distribute the guide or any substantial portion of it.
Upload the guide to a public website, shared library, group drive, membership site, course platform, document marketplace, file-sharing service, or artificial-intelligence training collection.
Share the guide outside the licensed purchaser, the licensed business’s authorized users, and the limited adviser exception above.
Remove, conceal, alter, or falsify a copyright notice, license notice, watermark, purchaser identifier, order identifier, author name, or other rights-management information.
Copy, extract, adapt, translate, rebrand, combine, or use the guide or its structure to create a competing guide, template, course, database, membership resource, or other commercial product.
Use a county guide to provide copies or access to an entire county, association, client group, class, membership, franchise system, or other group unless the order expressly grants that organization or distribution right.
Circumvent a password, access control, download control, document restriction, watermark, or other technical protection.
License options
Individual and single-business license: One purchaser or one purchasing business may use the guide for internal planning by the authorized-user count stated in the order. Use by unrelated businesses, customers, members, students, clients, or the public is not authorized.
Organization license: Internal use is limited to the named organization and number of users stated in the order. External distribution, resale, public posting, use by unnamed affiliates, or use beyond the purchased count is not authorized.
Distribution or program license: Use is limited to the distribution, audience, quantity, term, and guide edition stated in a separately signed agreement.
Copies and purchaser identification
Financial Stewardship Services, LLC may use purchaser, organization, order, or license information to document the authorized purchase. Copies distributed through certain fulfillment methods may include a purchaser or order identifier. The purchaser may not remove or obscure any identifier included in a delivered copy.
Updates and replacement copies
The license applies to the edition identified in the order. It does not include later editions, revisions, supplements, or county guides unless the product description or order expressly includes them. A replacement download does not create a second license or authorize another user. Financial Stewardship Services, LLC may require reasonable order verification before providing a replacement copy.
Termination
The license ends if the purchaser materially violates these terms and does not cure a curable violation after written notice within the period stated in that notice. For unauthorized sale, public posting, intentional removal of rights-management information, or deliberate circumvention of access controls, Financial Stewardship Services, LLC may terminate the license immediately to the extent permitted by law. On termination, the purchaser must stop using the guide and delete or destroy unauthorized copies. Termination does not erase claims or obligations arising before termination.
Ownership and copyright
The guide is licensed, not sold as intellectual property. Ownership of a downloaded or printed copy is distinct from ownership of the copyright. No implied license is granted beyond the uses expressly stated here. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Financial Stewardship Services, LLC and any other identified rights holder.
No professional advice or results promise
The guides provide general educational information and planning tools. They do not provide individualized legal, tax, accounting, bookkeeping, insurance, lending, licensing, permit, or other regulated professional advice. Information and public links can change. The purchaser remains responsible for confirming current requirements and obtaining qualified advice. Purchase or use does not guarantee formation, approval, funding, compliance, revenue, profitability, or another result.
Enforcement
Unauthorized copying or distribution may violate this agreement and applicable copyright law. Financial Stewardship Services, LLC may preserve evidence, contact the purchaser or platform, request removal of unauthorized material, terminate access where permitted, and pursue available remedies.
Acceptance
By selecting the agreement checkbox during purchase, the purchaser confirms that the purchaser reviewed and accepted these license terms before downloading the guide.
