Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

Financial Stewardship Services, LLC (“Financial Stewardship Services,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of website visitors, prospective clients, and clients. This Privacy Policy explains the types of personal information we may collect, how we may use and share it, and the choices available to people who provide information to us.

This policy applies to information collected through our website, forms, digital-resource purchases or requests, communications, consultations, and related business activities. It does not govern the independent privacy practices of third-party websites or service providers.

1. Information We May Collect

Information You Provide

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide when you:

• Submit the Get Started form or another website form

• Request or purchase a business resource

• Choose to receive occasional business resources or company updates by email

• Communicate with us by email, telephone, virtual meeting, or another approved method

• Complete a questionnaire, provide business documents, or participate in a consulting engagement

• Enter into an agreement with us

• Receive an invoice or make a payment

Depending on the interaction, this information may include:

• Your name, email address, and telephone number

• Your business or organization name

• Information about your business idea, operational concern, goals, budget range, and preferred timeframe

• Your choice about receiving optional business resources or updates by email

• Communications, documents, consultation notes, and other information you choose to provide

• Contract, invoice, transaction, and payment-status information

Please do not submit passwords, complete account numbers, Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, private employee information, private customer information, or other sensitive information through a website form or ordinary email unless we have specifically agreed upon an appropriate method and the information is necessary for the requested service.

Optional Email Updates

Any choice to receive marketing or informational email is optional. It is not required to submit a form, ask a question, purchase or request a resource, or receive consulting services. If you select the optional email choice, we may use the email address you provide to send occasional business information or company updates. You may withdraw that choice at any time by using the unsubscribe method provided in a message or by contacting us.

Withdrawing from optional marketing communications does not prevent us from sending non-promotional messages reasonably necessary to respond to your request, deliver a purchase, provide an agreed service, address an invoice, maintain the business relationship, or comply with applicable obligations.

Virtual Meetings

Consulting meetings are conducted remotely. We may use Zoom or another agreed virtual-meeting service. Those providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.

We do not automatically record consultations. A meeting may be recorded only after the participant is informed and affirmatively agrees. Before recording, we will explain the purpose of the recording and how it may be used or retained. A participant may decline recording without affecting the consultation.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, Squarespace and connected technology providers may automatically collect limited technical and usage information, such as:

• Internet Protocol address

• Browser, device, and operating-system information

• Pages viewed and dates or times of visits

• Interactions with website features

• Approximate location, website-performance information, and aggregated traffic information

2. Cookies and Analytics Choices

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for site operation, security, forms, shopping features, analytics, and user preferences. Squarespace may collect technical, usage, and aggregated website information as part of hosting and operating the site.

When a cookie notice or consent control is available, you may use it to manage nonessential cookies. Your browser settings may also allow you to block or delete cookies. Disabling cookies may affect how some website features function.

We do not use personal information to make automated decisions about whether a person may receive our services.

4. Limited Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools

We may use third-party artificial intelligence tools to assist with internal research, drafting, organization, or analysis of generalized business situations.

We take reasonable steps to minimize the information used for these purposes. We do not intentionally submit direct identifiers such as client names, company names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, passwords, account numbers, tax identification numbers, employee names, or customer names to an artificial intelligence tool for situational assistance.

We may also generalize distinctive dates, locations, dollar amounts, organization sizes, or unusual circumstances when they could reasonably identify a client or another person. Artificial intelligence output is subject to human review and is not used as the sole basis for a client recommendation or business decision.

5. Information Storage and Service Providers

We use third-party providers and business systems to operate the website, communicate, maintain records, prepare client materials, conduct virtual meetings, deliver digital resources, issue invoices, and process payments. These providers may include:

• Squarespace: website hosting, forms, digital-resource delivery, commerce features, website analytics, cookies, security, and site administration

• Google Workspace: business email and related communications

• Zoom or another agreed meeting provider: virtual meetings

• Intuit QuickBooks: invoicing, electronic payment options, transaction records, and related business records

• Dropbox: document and record storage

• Microsoft Office and the company’s computer: temporary preparation or revision of letters, reports, presentations, and other working documents

• Payment processors presented during checkout: processing of payment-card or bank information and related transaction services

Working files may temporarily exist on the company’s computer while being prepared or updated. Final or continuing records may be stored in Dropbox, QuickBooks, Squarespace, or business email, depending on the type and purpose of the record. Third-party providers process information according to their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, and legal obligations.

6. Payment Processing

Financial Stewardship Services may use Squarespace commerce features and the payment processor presented during website checkout for digital purchases. We also use Intuit QuickBooks independently for invoices and electronic payment options. Payment-card or bank information is processed by the applicable payment provider and its partners. Financial Stewardship Services may receive transaction details such as the client or purchaser name, email address, invoice or order information, payment amount, payment date, payment status, and related records but does not control every aspect of a payment provider’s processing.

7. How We May Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary:

• To service providers used to operate the website, provide forms or resources, conduct meetings, communicate, store records, prepare work, send invoices, deliver purchases, or process payments

• To an attorney, certified public accountant, tax professional, insurance professional, technology provider, or other qualified adviser when authorized or reasonably necessary

• To comply with a valid legal obligation, court order, subpoena, or governmental request

• To protect the rights, safety, property, or lawful interests of the company, a client, or another person

• In connection with a prospective sale, merger, reorganization, or transfer of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements

• At your direction or with your consent

We do not have subsidiaries or a staff of employees with routine access to client information. John Lester is responsible for company access to client records, subject to access or processing performed by the service providers described in this policy.

8. Marketing Communications

We may offer an optional choice on a website form to receive occasional business resources or company updates by email. The choice is voluntary and is not a condition of submitting a form, asking a question, purchasing or requesting a resource, or purchasing a service.

You may stop optional marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe method provided in the message or by contacting us. We may still send non-promotional communications needed to respond to an inquiry, deliver a requested or purchased resource, provide an agreed service, address an account or invoice, or maintain the business relationship.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Retention periods may vary according to the type of information and may reflect the need to respond to communications, provide or document services, maintain contracts and transaction records, meet applicable obligations, resolve disputes, or protect legal rights.

Some information may remain in backup files, historical records, temporary system files, or third-party systems until it is deleted or overwritten according to the provider’s practices. We may delete or deidentify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to applicable obligations and technical limitations.

10. Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures intended to protect information under our control. These measures may include limiting company access, using account authentication, maintaining records through established technology providers, and avoiding unnecessary collection of sensitive information. No storage, communication, or information system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

11. Your Choices and Requests

You may contact us to:

• Ask what personal information we maintain about you

• Request correction of inaccurate contact information

• Request deletion of information that we are not required or reasonably permitted to retain

• Withdraw your choice to receive optional marketing communications

• Ask a question about this Privacy Policy or our information practices

We may need to verify your identity before responding. Certain information may be retained when necessary for legal, tax, contractual, transaction, security, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate business purposes. Nothing in this section is intended to create a right that does not otherwise apply under applicable law.

Our website contains links to or integrations with third-party websites and services, including virtual meetings, social media, payment processing, downloadable resources, analytics, and other business resources. We do not control the privacy, security, content, or practices of those third parties. Review the applicable third party’s privacy policy before providing information through its service.

Our website and consulting services are intended for adults and businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

14. United States Services

Our website and consulting services are operated from the United States and are primarily intended for individuals and businesses in the United States. Information may be processed or stored in locations used by our technology providers.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, website forms, technology, providers, or information practices. The revised policy will display an updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or another reasonable method when appropriate.
